Disc range extension for electric vehicles from TRW

TRW Aftermarket

TRW offers proven and reliable aftermarket brake discs for Tesla Model S

Created to meet the demands of the growing e-mobility market, our discs offer installers and drivers the opportunity to fit replacement discs for the Tesla Model S, backed by trusted TRW quality and a cost-effective alternative to OE.

Front axle discs are already available, and rear axle discs are expected mid-2019.

Quality and reliability from aftermarket leaders

TRW is an aftermarket leader that supplies brake discs for vehicle manufacturers, so you can rely on outstanding quality. Our Tesla Model S brake discs are the latest in a long line of TRW products that bring aftermarket reliability to installers.

Tested for performance

Our Tesla Model S brake discs are EU manufactured and reengineered in-house. They are manufactured using GG15 HC, a High Carbon Grey Cast Iron material, that allows the discs to run cooler, meaning they not only offer superb performance but are less likely to distort and suffer from Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) problems such as hot judder and brake squeal.

Black painted

To provide increased corrosion resistance and performance, our Tesla Model S brake disc is black painted. By coating parts of the disc on a special black paint, a unique surface is created that adds a protective barrier against corrosion.

Benefits for workshops and drivers

With our Tesla Model S brake disc range extension, garages have the opportunity to increase their offer to drivers by fitting quality aftermarket brake discs for this popular car. Customers also benefit because they can ask their chosen garage to fit TRW Tesla Model S brake discs without having to go to the brand dealer – helping to reduce servicing costs.
