TRW experiments new ways to position its Brand

TRW Automotive Aftermarket extends its presence even to virtual workshops! Indeed, it is the pure (and virtual) reality. TRW has, in fact, joined the game Car Mechanic Simulator 2015, by placing its Brand and products within the virtual environment.

Car Mechanic Simulator is a game, where player is called to manage their own car workshop, replicating what usually happens in the concrete: car repairs and workshop expansion are the main goal you have to achieve.

This move has allowed TRW promoting both its Brake Pads, making them visible in the game, and also overall brand awareness, thanks to a highly visible banner displayed in the garage during game play.

Recognized has “one of last year’s biggest surprises” (Gamepressure), this game sequel was released on April 23rd and has received a very positive rating on Steam – the online platform where the game can be downloaded – so far, reaching almost 500 users’ reviews and 30,000 downloads.

Besides, with gamers posting their own clips on YouTube, TRW is also getting additional exposure, as confirmed by the almost 110,000 views that the following clip has received since its launch.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 is therefore proving to be an interesting additional tile through which TRW is enhancing its product and Brand awareness on the Web.
