TRW has been named one of the top 50 companies to work for in 2015 if you are a woman, by leading US publication, Woman Engineer Magazine.

Respondents to the magazine’s 24th annual reader survey were asked to name the companies for which they would most like to work or whom they believed would provide a positive working environment for women engineers. TRW reached a very respectable 45th place in the poll.

TRW’s marketing services manager, global Parts & Service, Ben Smart commented: “As an equal opportunities employer, we are incredibly proud to have been recognised in this way by female engineers.

“The automotive manufacturing industry has traditionally been a male dominated environment. At TRW we appreciate that some of the best minds in the business belong to women. Our philosophy is steeped in knowledge based learning and we do all we can to ensure that all our employees – both male and female – are provided with the tools they need to progress within their career.”

Launched in 1979, Women Engineer Magazine is a career-guidance and recruitment magazine aimed at women in engineering, computer science and information technology.
