TRW Aftermarket

TRW Automotive Aftermarket’s new ‘TRW Part Finder App’ for Europe and Asia is now available for free download. This development forms part of TRW’s 2015 digital strategy and further supports the company’s objective of becoming a leader in this field.

The ‘TRW Part Finder App’ has been developed for both iOS and Android. It can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play Store. Android customers in Asia can download it directly from: https://www.trwaftermarket.com

The App permits access to TRW’s web based catalogue on the move, using either the OE or TRW part number as an entry reference point. In addition, with the integration of the businesses anti-counterfeiting functionality ‘TecIdentify’, it allows users to scan TRW’s product boxes and verify authenticity.

“Technology is driving our industry,” TRW’s Online Marketing Manager, Alexander Knorn explained: “As leading suppliers of automotive parts and systems into the global aftermarket, we fully support our customers by providing relevant and timely information through their preferred channels; wherever and whenever they need it.”

Offering improved performance, the App perfectly complements and strengthens TRW’s existing digital portfolio which includes an integrated catalogue and free online technical resource, ‘Tech Corner, both of which were launched on: www.trwaftermarket.com in 2014.

“As a global leader in automotive safety, TRW has long been involved in the industry-wide fight against counterfeited products,” Alex continued.

“Giving our customers the ability to protect their businesses by confirming product authenticity via this App is a major step forward.

“With eighty-nine percent of the product supplied by TRW in 2014 - that’s more than 56,000 part numbers - carrying a unique two-dimensional (2D) matrix code on product box labels, allowing for part traceability and accountability, TRW’s customers can have complete confidence of the OE quality part inside the sealed box faster and easier than ever before,” he concluded.
