TRW Proequip shock absorbers incorporate three unique technical innovations:

• TRW Proequip shock absorbers have oversized compression valves and strong valve retainers, making them less susceptible to damage under extreme conditions
• The rod is first hardened, then polished to give a 20 per cent smoother surface and the seal is permanently lubricated to reduce friction and increase longevity compared to the typical market specification
• Instead of a helical spring within the piston valve, TRW uses layers of metal discs calibrated to 0.01mm, which makes the response time of the spring quicker - increasing safety and improving ride comfort
