While mechanical or hydraulic interactions continue to play their part in the vehicle safety sequence, more and more electronic interactions determine the safety of passengers. An ABS sensor is a vehicle wheel speed sensor and part of the safety management system, controlling the quantity and timing of applied brake pressure.

TRW ABS sensors generate and communicate very precise data in any given situation regardless of outside movement, temperature or any other variable. A TRW ABS Sensor is a combination of sophisticated electronics and complex chemical engineering to ensure that stability and reliability are maintained in a wide variety of conditions between – 40 °C and +150 °C.
