1. Pressure test – 2 minutes at 5000psi
2. Tensile strength test
3. Whip resistance
4. Constriction test
5. Volumetric expansion and burst strength test
6. Low temperature resistance test
7. End fitting corrosion resistance test
8. Ozone resistance test
9. Brake fluid compatibility test

Safety Critical

Brake Hoses contains all the pressure of the fluid force so reliability is essential. So not only do we carry out exhaustive tests, but we also exceed the requirements of SAE J1401 and FMVSS 106. All our brake hoses are marked with a traceable identification so that you can be assured that it is a genuine TRW Aftermarket product:
