To date, TRW has given six lucky motor mechanics from garages across Europe the opportunity of a lifetime to be a hands-on member of the Chevrolet racing team at the World Touring Car Championships (WTCC) – for the entire race weekend.
This exclusive, and unique prize forms part of a landmark deal TRW has with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) that sees TRW named as the first official sponsor of the WTCC Safety Car, for the 2010 season.
The lucky winners have stayed in the team hotel, been given uniforms and team radios and been truly immersed in the role of a race mechanic on both qualifer and race day. It has been an experience none of them will ever forget.

WTCC Advertising Campaign
Over the coming months, TRW will be running an advertising campaign highlighting the experiences of the mechanics and illustrating the company’s commitment towards raising the standards of safety on the roads of Europe.
The campaign will consist of a country specific advert featuring the winning race mechanic in action, followed by a generic, pan-European advert depicting all the race mechanics informing you of how to pre-register for next the next WTCC season.
