TRW doubles ABS range to total 220
By doubling its OE quality, all makes, ABS sensor programme in the two years since launch, TRW has reinforced its position as the market leader in braking.
With constant advances in automotive technology and an ever-increasing number of vehicle electronic components, this is a growing market and huge opportunity for TRW.
TRW leading ABS
Statistics show that nearly half the cars Germany (20 million) use ABS sensors – placing TRW in a leading position across Europe with approximately 40 per cent parc coverage.
Catering for European and Asian VM’s, the range includes:
- Ford Focus I and II; (4.4 Million cars in European car parc)
- Citroen C3 (780k)
- BMW Z4 (70k)
- Fiat Bravo/Brava (830k)
Safer drive with TRW

Dealing in extremes -40 to +125
“To generate and communicate precise data in any given situation, regardless of outside variables, TRW sensors are made of thermoplastic polyester or fibreglass reinforced polyamides. This gives them amazing electrotechnical and electromechanical characteristics, allowing them to withstand extremes of temperature, from -40°C up to +125°C.”
