TRW number one for application data Q4, 2010
The latest TecDoc figures show TRW has the best overall ‘corner module’ application coverage across its key European markets, for quarter 4, 2010.
TRW coined the term ‘corner module’ to describe the unique offer behind its core competencies of braking, steering & suspension and shock absorbers. These figures validate TRW’s market position.
Leading the way
Application data from 34 competitors was compared, with TRW emerging with top slots in many key areas, for example:
- Friction: discs; drums and pads
- Hydraulics: cylinders and calipers
- S&S: steering columns; centre rod assembley parts and tie rod ends
TRW – ahead of competition
Aftermarket VP, Francois Augnet, said: “These statistics reveal that, ahead of the competition, TRW is best positioned to serve the European car parc.
“We will strive to retain our position for the benefit of our customers, helping them to grow their businesses. With the market opening up under the new Block Exemption regulations, it’s more important than ever that new references reach the garages as soon as possible.”
