TRW iPhone app – now even better
TRW’s app for the Apple iPhone just keeps on getting better. Now available in eight languages, including Chinese, the app now allows customers to check application information by vehicle part number in the form of a buying guide.
Other features include:
- Default language setting
- Storage of up to 20 entries in the search history, even after the App has been closed
- Product image zoom function, including 90 degree rotation
- When a part search is done on a superseded part, the search will link to the new part
Technology on the move
And because this is all now available via your phone, it can all be done on the move!
“Innovative integration of our application information in smartphone technology encapsulates the TRW spirit of ‘new thinking’, explained TRW’s Soeren Kristensen. “Technology will be a future driver for our whole industry, and to be competitive and successful we will all need to have access to the information we need, when we need it. With increased globalisation, mobile parts identification directly via article numbers like the OE number will be hugely beneficial to the daily work of mechanics,” Soeren continued.
The TRW iPhone app was developed in conjunction with TecDoc and is available for free download from the App Store.
