TRW easycheck celebrates its third birthday with the launch of version six software

The software for version six of TRW easycheck is now available for download. In this version, Nissan makes its debut.

This news comes in the same month that the award winning hand-held service tool for garages celebrates its third birthday.

What’s new?

• 88 new applications
• Covers six vehicle manufacturers: BMW; Volkswagen; Jaguar; Hyundai; Mazda and Nissan
• Brake (ABS & EPB), airbag, climate and service.

TRW’s Helen Sheasby explained: “At launch we promised to issue two updates a year. It’s vital that garages have the applications they need quickly in order to service the market. With the lack of expendable cash around at the moment, drivers are postponing service and repair for as long as possible – which is clearly having an impact on business for the independent garages.”

• Later VW Golf and Passat Service functionality

Version six is offered - as standard - with all new TRW easycheck tools, and for those who already own a tool, as part of one or three-year update subscription packages. It is delivered via the update application, over the Internet as a download onto the TRW easycheck tool.
