ReMaTec ‘Remanufacturer of the Year Award’ for TRW

Francois Augnet, vice president, TRW Automotive Aftermarket Europe and Asia pacific has been named 'Remanufacturer of the Year 2010’ by international remanufacturing magazine, ReMaTec News.

The honour was bestowed on him in recognition of his and TRW's outstanding record within the field of automotive remanufacturing.

"François Augnet has over a long period been a dedicated promotor of automotive remanufacturing," said William Schwarck, Editor in Chief of ReMaTecNews magazine and Chairman of the Award jury. "Together with his team he has made the company's two main brake system reman facilities in the Czech Republic and the UK into admirable examples of quality and innovation in remanufacturing.

TRW’s Brake Engineering facility in Wales is without doubt one of the industry's most professional remanufacturing operations and offers a combination of high technical knowledge, high quality and innovation as well as commercial competence."

The Award ceremony took place in connection with the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association's (APRA) European symposium and exhibition at the Corinthia Grand Royal Hotel in Budapest, Hungary in late April.

Instituted in 2005, the Remanufacturer of the Year Award honours an individual or business that has served the remanufacturing industry with distinction.
