TRW Proequip - growth spurt for TRW’s two year old

Serious expansion of steering and suspension programme

TRW’s heavy commercial vehicle brand TRW Proequip is growing up – both in terms of sales, market share and programme specification. Since re-launch under its new moniker two years ago, the steering and suspension (S&S) programme has tripled in size and now tops 1000 references.

The ‘New Heavyweight’

Relaunched under the TRW Proequip brand in 2008, using the strapline: ‘The New Heavyweight’, the OE quality programme now comprises: S&S; brake pads; shock absorbers and steering gears. The latest range extension comprises a total of 17 new S&S part numbers, which includes: four radius rods, eight drag links, three repair kits and two new V-links.

Focus on success

TRW HCV expert, Mark Thorpe cited that success was due to the carefully considered, OE quality programme make-up, combined with the latest in technological product development.
