TRW Proequip at IAA CV Show for the first time
HALL 13, STAND C36
TRW Automotive Aftermarket’s heavy commercial vehicle brand, TRW proequip has announced it is to exhibit alongside OE parent company, TRW Automotive at the 63rd IAA International Motorshow Commercial Vehicles, in Hannover, Germany September 23-30, for the first time.
TRW Proequip will showcase its full portfolio of: steering and suspension parts; brake pads; shock absorbers and steering gears. On display will be XCAP, a new design of tie rod end encompassing the latest in steering innovation, recently launched to critical acclaim.
It is important for our aftermarket customers to be aware of the developments at OE level and to see first hand how TRW’s experience, heritage and pedigree translates directly into the aftermarket in terms of safety.
TRW’s HCV aftermarket programme was relaunched under the TRW proequip brand almost two years ago at Automechanika 2008 and with exponential month on month sales and programme growth is rapidly gaining European market share.
Mark Thorpe, HCV European channel marketing manager, TRW Automotive Aftermarket, explained: "IAA is an ideal event for us to team up with our OE colleagues to demonstrate the close connections between the two businesses. And we are excited that our aftermarket brand ‘TRW Proequip’ will have a presence for the first time.
