TRW Joins WTCC To Support 'Make Roads Safe' Campaign
Following the news that TRW is to be the first ever-official sponsor of the World Touring Car Championships Safety Car, the WTCC has demonstrated its support for improving global road safety by displaying on the car the UN backed ‘Make Roads Safe’ campaign logo.
The Make Roads Safe campaign is an initiative of the Commission for Global Road Safety and has been spearheaded by the FIA Foundation. As a direct result of the Make Roads Safe Campaign and the work of the Commission for Global Road Safety, the United Nation proclaimed 2011-2020 a Decade of Action for Road Safety.
This landmark resolution paves the way to halve road related deaths over the next decade.
