Sales conference success

TRW’s Parts and Service sales conference has been voted a huge success, and has left employees geared up and ready to set customers on the course for future success.
The conference, which took place in Italy from 7-9 February, was the first in three years. Well-organised, well-attended and well received, TRW’s sales teams heard from key company and renowned motivational speakers over the course of the three-day event.

Navigation and globalisation
With a theme of ‘Navigation’, conference delegates heard how TRW has remained buoyant and successful in recent years, leading industry peers to look to the company for guidance. As a key driver, great emphasis was placed on increased Globalisation.

TRW’s Bob Lightfoot spoke of the next phase of business strategy. Specifically, with the announcement during the conference of the completion of the purchase of Arvin Meritor’s shock absorber business, TRW’s OE quality ‘Corner Module’ offer is now complete. He spoke of how TRW would ‘lead the charge’ with this complete and unique offer.

Emphasis was placed on the following business tools, which will guarantee the highest quality service and provide complete customer satisfaction.

• Accurate product forecasting
• Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), whereby for a small monthly insurance fee, TRW will manage the whole sales process for customers, including storing goods until needed.
  The seminars and workshops were all developed to support TRW’s customers and set them on a course for future success.
