We know that poor quality data is a massive concern for both our internal and external customers, and so this is and always will be a matter of priority for us. At launch, heavy commercial parts programmes generally carry only OE cross-referencing data and our aim is to link the parts to as many vehicles as possible, as quickly as possible.
To further enhance customer service and to avoid the potential distribution of incorrect parts by our customers, TRW has improved the Tecdoc data offering for its HCV programme, TRW Proequip, by linking 175 steering linkage parts to additional applications for the following vehicle manufacturers:
- MAN
- Scania
- Mercedes
- Volvo
Further highlighting TRW’s commitment to the HCV market, this announcement strengthens the message of continuous improvement and underpins TRW’s philosophy of placing the customer at the heart of its business.
“The programme is driven by the needs of the customer,” said Mark Thorpe, European channel marketing manager, TRW Proequip.
