Countdown to Automechanika

With an action packed show planned, the TRW team looks forward to seeing some old friends and making some new ones at this year’s Automechanika.

TRW can be found in Hall 2, stand C72 at September’s exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany.


TRW – Moving in the Right Direction

The theme of this year’s stand is ‘navigation’. TRW introduced the 'beacon in a storm' theme at Automechanika 2008, when the automotive aftermarket was facing the prospect of a global recession. This was to convey to customers, old and new, that TRW could be depended on and trusted as a partner when navigating through a stormy economic cycle. The lighthouse emblem reflected our values of safety and reliability.

For this year’s exhibition, the theme has been developed to incorporate navigation devices such as a compass. This is to explain that even after the economic storm, the aftermarket needs to chart its course carefully through unknown waters.

“That's how we see the next few years, a period where our market is changing, through the increased complexity of the vehicle parc we all serve and the continued emergence of new technologies", explained: Francois Augnet, vice president, TRW Automotive Aftermarket, Europe.

Francois continued: “These changes will make new demands, and to navigate these requires new skills. We want TRW Aftermarket to be recognised as the navigator of future success.”

At an impressive stand, through some bold product and business development announcements TRW will illustrate how as an original equipment business, it is the global leader in safety systems and how we translate that to support our customers in active safety systems in the aftermarket.
