TRW – best in show….15 times a year!

We all know how much hard work is involved in organising an industry exhibition or show. In Germany large, multi supplier shows are standard to support customers who are mainly national.

Spreading the TRW message

In Germany it is typical for the large customers to organise multi supplier shows, almost like a mini Automechanika for suppliers to spread the word amongst their wholesalers, installers and industry Bodies.

Every year, the TRW German sales and marketing team lead the process of designing and building a new stand for these shows. 

This year’s stand is an impressive 40-80 square metres. It includes a purpose-built area where customers can sign up for, or find out about the garage loyalty programme, TRW-Diamonds. There is also an area to promote the WTCC races and race mechanic competition. The stand also includes a technical corner where an EPB caliper is rigged up to allow customers to learn about the technology and take part in a competition to find the person who can change the caliper in the fastest time using TRW easycheck.

TRW’s marketing manager for Germany, Andreas Schaeffer, explained: “Attending these major customer events is a big part of our marketing support programme here in Germany. These fairs give us a chance to illustrate the complete service that TRW provides as a manufacturer of OE quality parts, and they also give us the opportunity to get direct feedback from garages and motor factors alike.”
