Use brake pad guide to identify parts – no measuring required.
TRW saves time for its customers with its new brake pad drawing guide. The business has introduced a comprehensive brake pad drawing guide, XDB991A, which works in conjunction with TRW’s friction catalogue, XDD910D.
Where it fits on the page, the unique guide contains one to one, scaled drawings of every pad in its market leading range. By holding the physical brake pad over the drawing in the guide, the correct part number can be instantly identified; eliminating the need to measure it with a caliper or ruler.
Catering for a European passenger car parc of more than 98 per cent and for the light commercial vehicle parc, the brake pad drawings guide contains a total of 1400 references over a total of 1182 pages.
TRW’s global data manager for product & application data, Juergen Mehlis, explained: “Most of our competitors incorporate the pad drawing into their friction catalogue but if we did that, then due to the size of the range, the catalogue would be too big!"
